Another fine example of Scavenger mentality – ‘Jimmy the weasel’ had  mismatched BSA A10 Engine casings – enter Heisenburg and his warped sense of Recycling and ‘hey presto’ jobs a good ‘un.

Sarah’s Guzzi frame came home today, all shiney – time to start putting her back together again (the Guzzi). Trying to assemble it properly instead using the threaded bar and chewing gum the previous keeper had used!

alexnewproject

From a tiny acorn a mighty oak… etc etc.

Ever bought something and thought….. that’d look good on a chop/ bobber/ café racer? – just what Heisenburg did – one wheel and a project is born!!

New Forwards (mock up)

xs forwards 1 (2)

Mock up of the forwards going on the ‘Scavenger bike’ using a couple of bits of threaded bar and some imagination!

Foot pegs

xs Footpegs + 007

Foot pegs on the scavenger bike were – well a little bland to say the least, so armed with an idea, an old pair of Harley foot pegs, some old ‘bear trap’ cycle pedals and a ton of enthusiasm, Mac ventured over to Heisenburg who chopped, drilled, machined, tapped and – well you get the picture – and produced these lovely little items!

The Padawan learner

Paduan learner

Master Heisenburg is enlightening Mac – his padawan learner, about the mysteries of the lathe and how to turn dull, blunt metal into objects of desire!!
